White tussock bellflower is a very low-growing plant with a spreading habit. Upward facing, white bell-shaped flowers are produced on upright flower stalks. The triangular leaves are bright green and have toothed edges. This is a tough plant that can be used successfully in the Colorado Springs area if it receives regular moisture.
Removing the spent flowers encourages encourages continual flower production throughout the summer. Divide every three or four years to promote vigorous growth since it dies out in the center as it ages.
