Icicle speedwell is a beautiful perennial flower. It grows as an attractive, upright clump of dark green leaves.
In early summer it produces erect spikes of densely-packed white flowers. It will rebloom if the spent flower stalks are cut off.
Icicle speedwell has been an excellent plant at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. It is a very reliable grower and blooms over a long period of time. It is a great choice for a low water perennial flower.
Cut back stalks of spent flowers to a set of healthy leaves to encourage rebloom. Cut old stems and leaves to ground level in late winter.
