Coral Canyon twinspur is a beautiful, slow-spreading groundcover. Its best attribute is that its spikes of coral-pink flowers bloom for a long period of time. It flowers from summer well into fall, when other plants have gone dormant.
The blossoms grow in graceful spikes above small, deep green leaves. It is tolerant of sunny, warm conditions.
Coral Canyon twinspur has been an excellent plant at the Xeriscape Garden. It is a low maintenance plant with a very long period of bloom. Some years, it has been in bloom well into November. We highly recommend it.
Cut back old growth in spring.
