Blonde Ambition blue grama grass is an outstanding native ornamental grass. Selected by horticulturist David Salman from the native species, Blonde Ambition is a much taller, larger form with gorgeous chartreuse seedheads produced in late summer.

It has great winter interest and a beautiful light tan color throughout the winter. It performs well in a wide variety of conditions. A truly outstanding plant.

Blonde Ambition has performed very well at the Xeriscape Garden. It is not that noticeable early in the growing season. But once the seedheads are formed, it is stunning from fall through winter. It is a hardy ornamental grass that is a great option for hot, dry, sunny locations.

Cut stems to ground level in late winter before new growth begins in spring.
