Avalance white sun daisy is a perennial flower with clear white, daisy-like blooms. The succulent leaves grow as a green mat. One of its best attributes is the long flowering period, from spring until frost. This cultivar is more cold hardy than other African sun daisies.
Avalanche white sun daisy is a good bloomer at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. The continual white flowers draw attention. Occasionally, a few plants will die. It's a great plant for continual flowers, but may need periodic replacement.
Remove spent flower stalks to encourage the plant to produce new flowers. Remove old growth in late winter.
